PROVIDING A LAYERED APPROACH TO INTEGRATED CARGO PROTECTION
PulsNet has been designed to be installed on the inside of the curtain and aid as a layer between the curtain and the load that needs to be protected. The net is locked in place by the driver as a single application and becomes a taut structure that is difficult to breach.
The net is manufactured with polyethylene and reinforced with a steel helicoil wire that runs inside the netting strands making it impenetrable by a knife and simply stretches with the attempt at cutting it.
Due to the locking mechanism even when the net is cut or loosened, the structure remains relatively tight and access is still limited with the added advantage that the net is strong enough and will retain the load should there be shift during travel.
PulsNet prevents quick access for looters while the truck is moving at slow speeds or when hijacked it creates a time delay for access to the cargo.
The net, through the helical coil is connected to an alarm inside the cab which warns the driver of any tampering such as breaking or wire cutting detected. An alarm which forms part of the installation will also be triggered.
